September 2010 – New SpeakerPoint website goes LIVE!

We have spent the last three months working on our www.speakerpoint.co.uk ecommerce website. Apart from the obvious improvements to the layout and presentation we have dramatically improved the search facility making it even easier to find the speakers that meet your requirements. Furthermore, each product page now has more high definition product images with the magnifier facility to enable you to take a closer look at the finish and build quality of the speakers.

August 2010 – We’ve Now Moved To Shepperton Film Studios.

We have left our Weybridge store, and have moved across to our premises in Shepperton Film Studios. We are in the process of building our new Home Cinema Projection & Hi Fi demonstration facility, which is due for completion at the end of November. We still have some items available from our clearance sale; please see our clearance section for details.

June 1st 2010 – The Weybridge Massive Stock Clearance / Ex Display Sale begins.

Fantastic bargains to be had. See our clearance section for details of what we want to move on, which is pretty much everything. The Clearance sale will run for the month of June ending on Wednesday 30th June. We will then be relocating to the Shepperton Studios Premises.

May 1st 2010 – Notice given on Weybridge Showroom

After much consideration the decision to move off the high street is taken. From July 2010 Sculptured Sounds will operate solely from Shepperton Studios.

May 1st 2010 – New Sculptured Sounds Website Launched

April 2010 – The Specialist Audio Company take over management of SpeakerPoint website.

As the first stage in the business consolidation the Specialist Audio Company takes over the running of www.speakerpoint.co.uk alongside the current responsibility of www.ceiling-speakers.co.uk.

April 1st 2010 – Sculptured Sounds & The Specialist Audio Company Ltd move into Shepperton Studios.

The website stock is transferred to Shepperton and offices set up over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Stephen sees daylight for the first time in 6 months.

February 2010 – New premises found at Shepperton Studios

After an extensive search in the local area for premises to accommodate the website businesses, and as a demonstration facilities for Home Cinema and Audio Systems, suitable space has been found within the Shepperton Studios complex.

October 2009 – Search for new premises begins

The current space at Weybridge is insufficient for the stock requirement to support the websites and we start looking for new premises in the Weybridge area.

1st August 2009 – David Joyson appointed as Website and On Line Marketing Administrator for www.speakerpoint.co.uk

David to divide his time between Sculptured Sounds work (Monday & Tuesday) and working with his band, Flags, from Wednesday to Saturday. See www.flagstheband.com.

1st August 2009 – Sculptured Sounds launches www.speakerpoint.co.uk

www.speakerpoint.co.uk is launched to provide an on-line store for a range of quality loudspeakers and as a way to direct customers to the Weybridge Showroom for quality speakers that can’t be bought online.

1st July 2009 – Sculptured Sounds now providing storage and distribution for www.ceiling-speakers.co.uk from Weybridge premises.

Phil Beeston, formerly the Sevenoaks Sound and Vision franchisee in Staines, now director of The Specialist Audio Company Ltd trading online as www.ceiling-speakers.co.uk rapidly outgrows premises in High Wycombe, and the storage and distribution is moved to Weybridge and managed by logistics supremo Stephen Clark and his cat Zippie.

1st June 2009 – Sculptured Sounds takes over premises at 43 Church Street, Weybridge, formerly the location of Sevenoaks Sound and Vision, Weybridge.

Steve Budd, the original Sevenoaks Sound and Vision franchisee in Weybridge, leaves the retail franchise group, and extends the business by joining with Rob Grant, from Sculptured Sounds, in order to provide a comprehensive Home Cinema and Audio Systems supply and installation service covering North Surrey and South West London Area.
